I saw this idea somewhere on the web, so no credit for originality, but thought I’d give it a shot. Cut up a 2×4 of cedar I had from another project to make the 10.5×12″ ‘canvas.’ After a quick stain, set about with the mapping. The heart is symbolic as this is a gift for my grandparents who lived for several decades on a pond in RI, which is where the heart is located. Otherwise tedious work to pound all those teeny nails, then run thread around. Enjoy!
